about

This episode’s guest is singer Lisa Zwinscher. Recently, she started her solo project called „Pony Pracht“. For this project, she works with several ways of processing her own voice, including harmonizers or the self-programmed „Ponyphon“, a sampler instrument with different colors of Lisas Vocals. Lisa is also known as singer and guitarist at Elephants On Tape and as a part of Philipp Rumsch Ensemble.

The music in this episode is inspired by a instruction written by Tristan Tzara called „To Make a Dadaist Poem“. One should choose a newspaper article, cut out the words and reassemble them at random. We used this technique on Tzaras instruction itself and used the resulted text as lyrics. We used a similar concept in a musical way, by using samples of one another and rearranging them.
